Tribune-Review: State business leaders wary of DEP nominee
August 20th, 2008HARRISBURG — A controversial environmental advocate was nominated Tuesday to become head of the state Department of Environmental Protection.
Gov. Ed Rendell nominated John Hanger, CEO of Citizens for Pennsylvania’s Future, known as PennFuture, to replace Kathleen McGinty as DEP secretary. McGinty resigned in July, saying she wanted more time to spend with her family.
